How much would you pay for EACH of this handmade necklaces?

Hi, well, I've been selling this kind of necklaces, at a local store (beauty salon), and they sell kinda slow, but they sell well, but now I want to sell them online maybe on e-bay, and for now I'm just promoting a few on local classifieds, but I'm so unsure about the prices, because my dad and bf price them so low, and my mom and other girl friends say that they are woth more than that. So I kinda did a research and well It says that I have to ask other people that is not my family their honest opinion, so here are the links to some of the pics of my jewelry…Some neacklaces have real handcrafted crystal beads. So I'll appreciate all of your opinions. Thank You.

These are beautiful!!! I LOVE the third one…put it up and ebay and post the item number!
I would put them up at $14.99 and see how high it goes. What are you selling them for now at the beauty salon? Ebay does not bring a lot for homecrafted jewelry, but you could try. These things sell well at events that have seller booths and at art and crafts fair.
They are very very nice and I hope you do well selling them!

    i like the last one=].
i think anywhere from 8-12 dollars is a good reserve price. Necklaces like this sell for about the same price in stores.

Those are really nice. How much are you listing them for now? I really like #1 and #4- #6 is really cute too, the flower beads just make it look a little too young for most women, I think.

I have paid between $8-$12 for similar pieces w/o any crystal beads.

You need to base the price on your costs. That is, how much did the materials cost to make the necklaces? How much are you going to have to pay for shipping and handling once the product is ordered. Foremost, you need to base it on how many hours you put in the project to create it. All these factors need to be taken into account when starting your own business. For a reference, view my client's website to see how she prices her handmade jewelry. I'm a graphic artist and do freelance design work, we are pretty much in the same boat except I rarely have to charge for shipping and handling.

I think $8 - $10 is a good price, not too cheap but still tempting enough for people who arn't too bag of fans. You should consider doing custom necklaces, like letting customers choose a few colors or beads they like. I'd pay considerably more for a necklace I "helped" design. Good luck and I think some of your work is quite nice!

I would say 8-15 depending on what they cost to make and how long they took to make as well. They are all very beautiful. Congratulations on your talent!

They are some lovely necklaces!!! Anywhere from 12-20 dollars depending on what kind of beads you used. The ones made with crystal stay a bit higher, when you sell the crystal ones make sure you put up a sign that says real handcrafted crystal beads. That will surely get people's attention!
    Good luck!

It's hard to get much for them on eBay because you are competing with imports and people are looking for a bargain. There are some website for listing your art work. Craftster.org, itsy.com. And you own internet supplier will probably have some free space for you to use to sell your wares. Call and ask them. I am in the process of setting up a website right now for people to list their art/crafts but it is in the works.

Get two or three of your friends and set up one site for all three of you.

    good luck

know how much the necklace cost to make , then double for selling price. If you sell them through a store, they will want a percentage so triple the price

Assuming the beads are relatively high quality glass, $10-15 seems reasonable. They're hand strung, but pretty simple designs.
